Comply 23 Is Now Available (Mandatory Update before 2023 Submission)

We are happy to announce that Comply 23 is now available on our support site for download. This version of Comply contains all of the latest edit and submission changes needed to submit your 2023 HMDA and CRA data. It also contains the new 2024 reporting year so you can start to collect and prepare for the 2024 submissions as well.

Comply 23 contains two exciting new features, one being a brand new component for Small Business Lending (SBL) 1071. With this new component, all RATA clients have the ability to begin collecting and edit checking the new SBL data as required under 1071 of the Dodd-Frank Act. In this release, the component is open to all clients for your testing purposes to see that it will meet your needs. If SBL is something that your institution will need going forward, please contact us for component cost and licensing. The SBL 1071 sandbox testing will end with the March release; if you have licensed the component it will stay active. If you have not licensed the component, it will deactivate but no data will be lost; it will remain inaccessible until reactivated with an order form. The second feature is the Comply Dataset Compare tool which allows the user to compare two Comply datasets and report on differences between selected fields. This feature, when used in conjunction with Application Sampling, allows you to verify the accuracy of the data in Comply versus that imported from your Loan Origination System or in most cases back to actual applications to satisfy FFIEC Transaction Testing.

A changes document will soon be posted to the support site and made available on the Start Page so that you will know what is fixed, updated, and added to this latest version. Because this is a submission version, it is mandatory and critical that you apply this update before performing your 2023 submission. It should be installed at your earliest convenience so that there are no surprises with new or updated edit checks.

RATA Hosted Services (RHS) is RATA's cloud-based version of Comply. All RHS users should know that we will update your systems to Comply 23 on November 4, 2023, between the hours of 8 am and 12 pm (EST). RHS will be unavailable during this time. There is nothing else for you to do except log in to the new version on Monday. How easy is that!
